Of Judging and Other Stuff

No planned posts today as I’ll be spending the free time before tonight’s D&D game continuing the judging of the 10 word adventure contest.

I got some news from Paizo and we may get more prizes as the request got sent to the marketing department (no pressure here guys!). Keep your fingers crossed.

I added a link to subscribe to the feed by email. Also, I added a little subscription counter to show you just how many we are here! Weee, just 4 shy of 300! We’ll be able to storm the Persians soon!

I’m also working on a new Trope post with the highly unlikely title of The Truman Mirror Tomato Surprise!

With a title like that I can’t go wrong right?

Yeah, I might change that…

Be good!

    Oh yeah I forgot.

I finally got around to submitting the Blog for Best Fan site for the Gen Con’s Ennies award.

While I have no grand illusions of winning that thing, I still chose a Nomination song as requested.

Here it is… (Thanks to Bartoneous)

Thank Bartoneus, he’s the one that posted it (I’d never hear the end of it otherwise…)

    Good luck!

While I don’t post comments normally, I would certainly vote for this site. I read the blog daily during the week and even steal some of your idea for my own campaign. **Oops, I meant “get inspired” by your ideas** I would never out-right steal an idea.

Hey Jozie, thanks for the vote of confidence.

Steal away, steal away… while I own the writing, the ideas are free to be used in your games!

As I keep saying it’s going to come down to a down and out, Streets of New York type of rumble in the Halls of the convention center.

Chatty, sorry I didn’t submit another set of five to kick the total over 300, but I’m DMing a game of my own again for the first time in years, and it had to take precedence.

If it helps, the Saturday before last’s 15-round epic battle in which the 4 heroes took down the ship and crew of the Spiked Maiden, the most infamous pirates on the campaign’s local inland sea, was a huge success, climaxing with the defeat of the tongue-amputating renegade Nimblewright captain right in front of the triggered and counting-down self-destruct mechanism just before he could capture another victim to install as a new arcanoborged helmsman.

    @Yax: Oh I will! :)

@Acksiom: That must have been a cool fight. Thanks for the link to the creature…. what is that site? A shared-space DM notebook? That’s a cool concept!
